KS's Velvet Catt

Velvet is a dark bay with a snowcap blanket, an unusual blaze, and 3 white socks. She should mature to be a small mare, about 50 inches tall.

Velvet has the rich color that her name implies, and a royal class disposition to go with it. A late foal, Velvet was born August 30th so is much younger and smaller than our other yearlings. She is the only foal sired by KS's Ghostys Snoop Catt, a great young pony that is just starting his show career and has already earned a top 5 finish in halter at the AOHA State Show. Velvet's dam is KS's Elusive Twist, one of our seasoned broodmares who consistently produces excellent quality foals like KS's Nu Twist On Impulse, 2011 International Res. Champion and Futurity Top 5, KS's Dash Of Elegance, ROM(H), and KS's Dashing Illusion, Supreme Champion, Classic Champion, Res. Futurity Champion, and 2x World Champion. Velvet is a big pony in a little pony package with her awesome movement, chunky body, gorgeous head, tiny ears, and big personality. She will be a real contender in the small mare class in the future, and a great choice for a color producing broodmare.
