KS's Taylor Made Ghost

Taylor is a red dun roan gelding with white patches with spots over his rump and croup, a blaze, left front and left hind stockings, and right hind coronet white. He measures 55 1/2 inches tall.

This great gelding just proves that you don't have to have loads of spots to be flashy! Taylor will catch anyone's attention with his color, then hold it with his big hip and nice head with small ears. Awesome movement tops off this great guy, and he will be hard to beat in even the toughest competition. Taylor is by Alias Ghost King and out of KS's Tigers Dark Crystal, aka Scarlet, who has the bloodlines of Paper Tiger and Smokey Pants from the POA world, and the Quarter Horse lines of King, Wimpy, and Poco Bueno. Taylor is a full brother to KS's Ghosty Button Pants, who had multiple top 10's in the tough Junior and 13-18 classes at the International, and is now producing top foals! He has one of those special dispositions that makes him 'born broke', and we have yet to find something he doesn't take in stride. Taylor had extensive ground work last spring, but foaling and show season put his training on the back burner. This past fall he picked up right where he left off, and is progressing in his training under saddle by leaps and bounds. Taylor is a very laid back sort of pony who doesn't get in a hurry about things. Yet he is very responsive, light in the bridle, and moves easily off of leg pressure. Taylor has the sort of personality that will make him a perfect mount for beginner riders in the future, and with the great start he already has under saddle he would be well suited to an intermediate rider now. Taylor stands quietly for mounting and dismounting from either side, drops his head to be bridled by a smaller handler, and is riding both western and English. He has also been started on showmanship and trail. Start the show day with halter and then ride every class offered, Taylor has the quality to get the job done, the style to look good doing it, and the disposition to quietly ignore all the show ring distractions while safely carrying his rider through the day.
