KS's Jammin My Sox Off

This fresh faced boy has a nice blaze, and a right hind half stocking. He is a sorrel with a blanket to his shoulders with spots, and also has more spots on his face. We expect him to mature close to 56 inches tall.

Sired by Jammer, Soxy is out of the great young AQHA mare KSs Exhibit The Sox, who is a maternal sister to POA Supreme Champion KS's Tigers Hot Stuff. This gelding's older brothers are KS's Jammin In My Sox, who had great placings at his only weekend in the show pen as a yearling, and KS's Jammin In One Sox, a promising riding pony. But what really sets off the colts from this cross and continues to make them sought after animals is their dispositions. They continue to amaze us with their unflappable demeanor, level headed trainablity, and 10+ movement. Even at a young age, it was obvious Soxy would follow in his older brother's hoofprints. With the best of versatile bloodlines from three breeds such as Sugar Bars and King, AQHA, Prince Shannon and Alias King, ApHC, Paper Tiger and KS's JW White Lighting, POA, pick your discipline or try them all, Soxy is bred to do it. And he has one of the smallest heads, longest necks, and biggest rumps around! If wowing the crowd, blowing your competition out of the water in every class you enter, and having the best natured pony on the planet is your idea of a great show, Soxy could be your guy! Imprinted at birth, Soxy loves every minute of time spent with his human companions and is always one of the first ones to the gate. Soxy was in our own show string for the 2011 show season, and had a great start to what is sure to be an exceptional show career. He was shown primarily in halter, and earned Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion titles at his first ever show weekend! At the Southeast Regional and promos he was Reserve Jr Champion twice, and took 2nds and 3rds in lungeline and trail. Soxy was also started under saddle, but was not ready to show in a big show, so he was again shown in-hand at the International Show. Soxy had a great show, bringing home Top 5 finishes in halter and trail, and placing under two judges in lungeline. He also gained some valuable experience by riding in the warm up pen, and seeing the sights under saddle. Showing our weanlings in the fall put Soxy's training on the back burner, but we continued to show him in halter where he racked up 3 more Grands and 1 more Reserve, for a total of 239 halter points, 4 Grands, and 2 Reserves. Soxy also finished the year #5 in the Nation in 2 year old geldings at halter! Soxy has been purchased by Mallory Goad of Franklin, Indiana, for her 2012 JPFC mount. They are already clicking as a team, and Mallory is doing a great job continuing Soxy's education under saddle. Watch for this awesome new duo at Indiana POA shows and POA's major events!
