'PT' was purchased by KS's Pony Farm as a five year old in 1978, when he had sired just one foal. The first spring he was here at the farm he serviced 14 mares, and the following spring had 14 colored foals on the ground. We also showed him in halter, finishing up his halter ROM. While he was broke to ride, PT was not shown much under saddle, enjoying just a few shows with Amy Sims. PT loved the show ring, and when his handler wasn't paying attention his favorite passtime was checking out the people in the stands! While he could certainly hold his own in the show arena, he was proving himself tops in the breeding shed. KS's Tigers Breezin Cat won the Select Sire Futurity Colts class in 1984, and grew up to be a top child's performance pony, earning the title of Supreme Champion. KS's Tigers Jewel, KS's Tigers Lucky Lady, KS's Tigers Bomber, KS's Tigers Be Lucky, KS's Tigers Cat Dancer, KS's Flaming Tiger, Tigers Papermate, KS's Tiger's Hot Stuff, and KS's Tigers Intheblues are all Supreme Champions and/or International Champions. KS's Crimson Tiger Two was number one in the nation in 3 year old stallions and went on to be a Supreme Champion as well as being the International Large (and then Medium after the height split) Gelding Stakes winner three years running. Paper Tiger's foals have won over 71 classes at the International show, and are still showing and winning. The photo on the left is of PT at home at the farm, and the photo on the right is of PT and Amy Sims on the road and showing.
