KS's Honkytonkin Ghost

KS's Honkytonkin Ghost

'Casper' is a 2005 sorrel fewspot leopard gelding with a blaze. He measures right at 55 inches tall.

KS's Honkytonkin Ghost

If you are looking for a really awesome gelding, Casper could be your guy! His disposition, trainability, quality of movement and natural athleticism are just off the charts. He could excel in halter, English or Western pleasure, Dressage, jumping, reining, pleasure driving, timed events, or anything else you have in mind! By Alias Ghost King and out of KS's Sheza Boogie Twist, Casper can claim multiple International Champion and multiple International Champion producer KS's Boogie With a Ghost as well as our own KS's Jammin With A Ghost- also an International Champion producer- as his full siblings. Casper is extremely quiet and well mannered, and handles any new situation with the same unflappable demeanor. Casper has unlimited potential to be the next all-star show pony in any and every class offered. He was shown lightly as a yearling in halter and showmanship by a youth, and already has earned halter points as well as Grand and Reserve Grand championships. It is easy to picture him as the next gelding to be shown by a youth to International and Supreme Championships! While he is slow-legged for western events, he has a beautiful working trot with exceptional grace, impulsion, and suspension that will wow the judges in Huntseat and pleasure driving classes. Even with the outstanding dispositions of our other POAs, Casper stands out. Seldom is there a pony that is so easy to train and so eager to please! With his exceptionally quiet and forgiving disposition he will be perfectly suited to caring for a beginner rider, or excelling with a more experienced horseman. He is well started on showmanship patterns, under saddle both huntseat and western, and is also working on trail. We were excited to include Casper in our 2010 show string, and he made a splash in a short season! Casper was Southeast Regional Grand Champion gelding, as well as being High Point 19&Over for the weekend! Casper also showed at a TN club show weekend, and earned 86 halter points and 2 Grands just this season in two weekends of showing. Casper was making his International debut in St Louis when a family from Indiana fell in love with him and was excited to take him home even before he finished all of his classes. Mom Andie will be continuing Casper's training while Eli and Lilly also enjoy riding and speding time with their new pony. Andie writes 'We are so pleased with our new pony and the remarkable start he received at KS's Pony Farm. He is an intelligent, friendly, and a hard working pony. He came to us with many of the basics instilled in him: backing, side passing, yielding his hindquarters, pivoting, ground manners and so much more. We look forward to many years of pleasure from Casper.' CONGRATUALTIONS TO ELI AND LILLY, WE HOPE TO SEE YOU AT SOME POA SHOWS IN THE FUTURE, BUT MOST OF ALL HAVE LOTS OF FUN WITH CASPER!
